Welcome Back to School!
Hello and welcome Tiger families! CMIT ES PTO is starting its 11th year of providing funding support and FUN support for students and staff. Last school year, we continued our mission to improve technology and communication for students and educators at the school! Check out the graphic to the right/below for a summary of our impact in the 2024-25 school year! ----->
Thanks to our members, donors, volunteers, and scholars for making last year a success!
The PTO membership year restarted on July 1. All parents, guardians, and caregivers are encouraged to become members of the PTO - your input is valuable and needed!
Also, the volunteer approvals restarted at the end of the school year. Please consider applying/reapplying to volunteer with us.

We started a new Facebook Group: CMIT North Elementary PTO Families with the mission to improve communication and connection between families. We welcome posts from community members. Anyone can ask a question, and anyone can answer! Please join us and participate in the discussions.

Meet our CMIT NES PTO Executive Board! The new board took office on July 1st and planning is underway! We have some exciting things planned for our CMIT NES PTO scholars and families!
On-Site Fingerprinting - 9/13
On-Site Fingerprinting - 9/13
PGCPS requires new volunteers to be fingerprinted and undergo a background check. We are bringing a vendor to CMIT NES to complete the fingerprinting step to make it as convenient as possible for Tiger families.

Historically our on-site fingerprinting events sell out, so please do not delay! The next one will be in the 2nd semester!
If you've been fingerprinted by PGCPS as part of your volunteer application in the past, you DO NOT need to be fingerprinted again.
If you are APPROVED for free and reduced meals, your fingerprinting cost is waived by the county; you must bring your approval letter to the appointment and you just pay the travel fee. You may select the FARMS Approved appointment slot. NOTE: if you select this but do not bring your FARMS Approval Letter to the appointment, they WILL NOT send your fingerprints off until you pay or provide the letter.

Join us for the first monthly meeting of the 2025-26 school year, in person, in the cafeteria. We will introduce you to your PTO Executive Board, discuss plans for the year and how you can get involved, and vote on a budget.
Please become a MEMBER to participate in the vote!
Dinner will be served!
We also sweeten the deal by providing a dress down coupon for attending!
